300 000 BTC: A record for black's Bitcoin ETF

This is a major turning point in the crypto sphere. The giant Blackrock holds over 300,000 BTC under management for its clients.

It’s no joke with Blackrock

As the weeks go by, Blakcrock takes one step at a time. From 100,000 to 200,000, the world’s largest fund manager now owns over 300,000 BTC, after just 5 months since the ETF opened for trading.

If we combine Blackrock’s holdings with those of Fidelity, ARK 21 Shares, the number is much higher.

Blackrock does not stop buying BTC

At present, the company’s buying rhythm is relentless. In fact, during the day of Thursday June 6, 4,920 BTC were purchased. In total, Blakcrock has purchased precisely 302,539 BTC on behalf of its customers. This performance makes IBIT the largest Bitcoin-holding crypto ETF in the world.

Blackrock BTC

Blackrock’s total assets are currently valued at $21.42 billion.

The current statistics may be impressive for IBIT, but there are also more and more feats of arms. In a short space of time, Blackrock has overtaken Grayscale. What’s more, it has managed to surpass $20 billion in BTC. And yesterday, the IBIT ETF exceeded 300,000 BTC on behalf of its clients.

This compares with one of the oldest and biggest investors in the crypto market, Microstrategy, which has just 214,400 BTC. A number that may seem like a lot, but it’s nothing compared to Blackrock’s 300,000 BTC and its meteoric rise.

As you know, the total supply of Bitcoin is limited to 21 million units. Today, Blackrock is already gathering more than 1.44% of the supply for its customers. And if we refer to the current supply in circulation, the company has collected more than 1.53% of the tokens currently in circulation.

Adding up all U.S. ETFs, CoinGlass claims that they hold over 883,000 BTC.

How far do you think BlackRock will stop ?
