MicroStrategy thus solidifies its position as the public company with the most BTC in the world. Only BlackRock and Grayscale hold more, with nearly 300,000 Bitcoins each, managed on behalf of their clients.

Far beyond that, the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, is believed to own over 1 million BTC, valued at more than $60 billion, making him the 20th richest person in the world. However, Satoshi’s wallets have shown no activity since he disappeared in December 2010, making any future mobilization of these funds unlikely.
